Gender. I believe gender shapes my identity more than my race or ethnicity.

Think about that statement for a moment. Is life for women in the Third World really worse than life for men in the Third World? Do the men in these countries not suffer to defend their families from criminals, fight in horrific wars, get tortured, get murdered like they're disposable, prefer to starve before letting their wives and children go hungry, etc?
Yes, but we have some alleviating thing called male privilege, which comes from our societies being heavily pathriarchic in nature. With duties come a lot of rights for us, but for them females it's mostly duties more than anything.
