because black women themselves think that.why do they straighten their nappy hair,want lighter skin kids?

I don't consider straightening ones hair as a form of wanting to be white or mixed. It's a hair style to me. Sometimes my hair is straightened, sometimes natural and curly and sometimes braided. Also, not all black people have "nappy hair" as you put it and there are light skinned blacks, who are not mixed.
