Igbo, Yoruba, and Fulani-Hausa are the three major tribes of Nigeria. But there are many more (250). The ones that are closely related to the Igbo, in the east, have the same skin tone variation... in addition to Central Africans. Do yourself a favor and catch a plane to Africa, the internet doesn't do us justice.

As I said, their dna must be studied to find why they have this tone, there must be a scientifi undertsnadable expalnation to it,
Another issues is that Afrmas use it as an excuse to say that there are also light skinned black in the US.

You are a white guy, you are of the colonial elite, or even not dominated by another culture, also you are of the minority who do it, most white guy prefer to date their own, but here in LATAm people have a preference to light skin because of colonail mentality, as it is the norm on our countires to like light skin women.
