It's fine, I heard that an Icelandic study showed that couples who are 7th or 8th cousins have a better chance of conceiving than couples who are not so related (I don't know the exact parameters for 'non-related' and 'related').

I think that when the breeding is within your family but not too close the better chances of conception outweigh the moderate increase in the risk of genetic disorders afflicting the offspring.
i still wouldn't take the chance
