I met some Cholos weros back when i worked in teletech in mexico they had heritage mostly from Jalisco And Sonora

Most multigenerational Mexican-Americans in the Southwest trace their ancestry to northern and/or western Mexico, actually. The typical Mexican from those regions are usually around 55-70% European in most studies I've seen, higher than the rest of the country. Güeros are not rare there even among rancheros and the lower class families.
