I feel like most jews identify more with Europe and USA
and most of them consider themselves "white" as europeans and white Americans
than middle eastern and they hate to be compared with other middle easterns even with "arab" christians and they are proud of how they westernized that part of the middle east Iam berber but If I were jewish I would be very proud of being middle eastern...
Don't you think that most jews are selfhating middle easterns?

It's interesting because I view Jews as Western, not Middle Eastern, in terms culture especially. Perhaps genetically it's different, but alot of the Israelis I see on TV for example are very Western looking, whether it's Israelis like Benjamin Netanyahu or Tsippi Livni, or American Jews like Adam Sandler and Ben stiller. Also, a significant portion of the Israeli society seems to be extremely liberal (in a Westernized way); if I'm not mistaken, Tel Aviv is a hotspot for gay people. Maybe the way of life of most Middle Easterns differs from the way of life of most Jews, and so they identify more with the West.
