Everyone who comes to a new environment has to addapt to a certain point. The way Israel always puts so much emphasis on their western/european roots makes one wonder why they chose a place that doesn't fit these criteria at all. And everybody knows that the supposed "Judeo-Christian" civilisation that politicians like to point out so much(stupidly especially German ones) only existed in some western Euro countries for a short time, the rest of the time Jews got lynched every few years. So imo Israelis who idealize European Jewish life are delusional and insulting their forefathers.

First of all, it's their ancestral homeland which they identify with and it's their right.

Second of all, it's evolution, parts of Israeli culture is are actually oriental middle eastern while other parts are western, that's like saying why should the Arabs in Dubai build skyscrapers similar to mega American cities? Why not just build giant tents instead
