I used to have a mustache. They are semi-common in Sicily, although not very common among the Italian-American diaspora.

I didn't like maintaining it and girls didn't like the way it tickled, so I got rid of it a few years ago. Only one photo of me with it survives on my facebook. The rest, as they say, were lost to history.

That, or burned.
