Um....can't the same be said of pretty much any nation that has a wider reaching audience of its media?

There are people out there who think the same thing about Americans. And I can assure you our Hollywood stars aren't natural or representative of our population.

Only idiots and children judge the attractiveness of nations and ethnic groups based on celebrities.

In fact, because in France, they are almost no japanese, the only vision we have of them is the media. And peoples thinks the japanese looking is like that :

I agree with you, when you said celebrity are not representating of average peoples. But, when you see french celebrity they are really representative of average french, except less beautiful, but you can have an idea of the phenotype. For the japanese example it's different
