I've heard some people say they think so.

Personally, apart from the small minority of mestizos there, I think Filipinos look very Asiatic, and not even like Amerindians minus a few South American tribes.

I've seen mixed Brazilians of Amerindian and Portuguese descent who look Filipino but that's it.
