Thais and Filipinos (the ones without European admixture) are genetically pretty much the same. Malay peoples. Just don't let them hear you say that.

I'd bet 90% of Filipinos have no European ancestry.

I've actually mistaken Cambodians and Indonesians for Central Americans.
