He looks part negrito while the girl looks part Australian Aborigine.

Though he could pass as a tripartite mixed New worlder to a person unfamiliar with Negritos. Hell even I wouldn't assume he was Filipino based entirely on physical features; rather some 'black' admixed person or mulattoid type as Bandar hinted at.
