I've been slapped a few times by my mom and dad growing up (about 10 times I can remember), the last time was when I was about 13 when I was timewasting in some way and my dad slapped me. I used to think it was unfair, but now I'm starting to think it's the best way to discipline kids- classical conditioning etc

Like parents are very fond of saying, some day you'll need to motivate yourself to behave well. When I can't be bothered to do something I secrety wish there WAS someone to give me a kick up the backside and make me do it.
