Well, he didn't take it well. It's his personality to be rational as to why he has to be my boyfriend even though he lives on the other side of the world.

Anyway, it's hard to be dating someone so different from you. And from my experience of casually dating 2 white men and from the experience of others, they don't take women of other race seriously. Maybe it's their culture, but for us we date because we expect to have something serious to come out of it and not just a one night stand.
