I only have one piece of advice for you:
leave Canada
! Everything FAILED seems to be residing there.
We have the best hockey talent in the world, we have GSP, ohh, and multiculturalism for the win, I love Canada and consider myself a very proud Canadian
Anyway. You are Assyrian. First and foremost, as for all other races, you need to marry other Assyrians. Secondly, you marry other Christian Orthodox people. Not "Southern Italians becuz they're sorta similar and sorta look the same and kinda cute" or whatever. That is the will of God, and you know it. God will punish you if you marry a catholic.
No offense. First, this shows how ignorant you are of Assyrians, we have 3 major religious branches, one is Orthodox (They usually call themselves Syriacs), one is Catholic (They call themselves Chaldean), and one is independent but more similar to Orthodox than Catholic (Church of the East, or also known as Nestorian), my father follows the Nestorian branch and my mother is a Chaldean Catholic.
Second, why don't we merry other Orthodox people that live near Greeks like Serbians, Bulgarians, or Macedonians for example? Because culturally they are not like us, Greeks are.
I can imagine that an Armenian would work for you. But what if you marry someone that is of your religion, but fundamentally different? What if the regular things you do in order to please your partner would be perceived completely different? I would obviously prefer my own kind for marriage (My fiancee is Assyrian), but among Assyrians, others that would be acceptable the most outside of our culture are Armenians and Greeks.
