I remember my English teacher - a girl from England - once describing - to her horror - the type of shoes worn by women in Poland in the winter as "fuck-me-boots":

In Poland they are called 'kozaki' what means 'cossaks' and they are connected first and foremost with cold and snowy weather than anything else.

That's actually a good example of cultural difference. Yes we use this phrase too "FMB"
