No, they are not racist. They are friendly. What i mean is the sense of homogeneity in Finland, which is excellent if the world continues the way is going in 20 years Finland will be the only country with identity.
Finland is certainly not the most homogenous country in Europe. In Western Europe its probably Iceland (almost no immigrants finds the way to there, and Icelandic is the only official language). Its even more clear if you know that Icelandic is super-conservative language and does not want to have too many foreign (not even english words) in it. Televsion is called kvikmyndir or something similar.

In the whole of Europe I will guess some post-communist state (certainly not Russia, Bosnia or Romania).

Once all Russians move out from Estonia and Latvia they will maybe be the most homogenous states in Europe, as they have no culturally and racially different immigrants and minorties (apart from a few Tatars).

You find signs in Swedish in Helsinki btw (highly unnecessary if you ask me). And, the finnish social democrat Pavo Lipponen wants to protect that.
