Apparently you havent been at any tourist destination with loads of Englanders..

Strangely enough Europeans tend to insult us by calling us conservative. Regardless, I think the hatred of English people goes beyond their uptight contempt for English people having a good time. It's certainly fuel to the fire, but it's not the main reason.
