In Europe there is quite a bit of anti-English sentiment, in particular from the Southern European nations like France, Spain and Italy, but to be honest I've ever sensed hostility towards the English from Swedish and Dutch. In Spain the anti-English sentiment is quite institutionalised with local governments quite frequently knocking down homes legally purchased by English people.

Also, it's quite common for an Irish or Scottish person to walk into a bar in Spain, Italy, Turkey, etc, and get treated with disregarded and disrespect initially, and then when they find out where he's from, their whole attitude suddenly changes and they proclaim things like "Oh you're alright, we just don't like the English".

I can understand why the Spaniards would hate us though. We fucked up their Armada, we stole the Southern tip of their country, now we've pushed North into the Costa del Sol and stolen their towns, we smashed up their Argie mates in South America and to add insult to injury we are now taking their beaches and taking their women. We've bullied those little Spaniards something awful.
The Spanish fucked up the English fleet when it attacked La Corunna in 1589, a year after the Armada expedition failed. The peace treaty in 1604 went Spain's way.

The English are annoyingly smug when things are going their way (witness the World Cup fiasco) but cringe when they arent..like Germans, only lazier.
English girls are prettier when slim..when.
