Stereotypes that fit:

Roman Catholic
Traditional
Very, very, very family oriented
More affinity towards your region than your country (Both in Italy and the US)
Mama's boy
Knows where the good restaurants are, has a profound love of food (esp. Italian food)
Knows somebody who knows somebody
Talks with hands (edited in)

Stereotypes that don't fit:

Prone to violence
No respect for law
Hatred of gays
Ethnic pride that borders on supremacist views
Chauvinist feelings towards gender equality
Adulterous when in a relationship, on the prowl every weekend when single
Wears more jewelry than most women
