No i didn't. I said she was "young". He's 46, she's 21. She's young.
She's an adult.

Boehner is only trying to force the US into default if he opposes ALL plans. The only plan he supposes is one which Democrats in the House will not agree to and which will never pass the Senate. He's not actually offering anything constructive; he's grandstanding.

Also, he's gone from "We can't kick this can any farther down the road" to proposing a plan which would mean going through this all again in nine months.

If his position is no new taxes, then he may want to stick with it. Seems the Dems had a big problem when GHW Bush went back on that pledge. Strawman.

If Obama won't accept, then the result will be default... if default is so bad, maybe Obama should just accept. You're not really clear on how our government works, are you? It's up to the House to create a bill (consitution says funding bills must originate in the House), pass it, and then have it passed by the Senate. Then the President signs it or vetoes it. If he vetoes it, Congress can override the veto.

Obama is only involved at this point as a mediator who's trying to get a deal done. Attempting to pin the blame on him just makes you look silly.

What discussion? The tone of this tread clearly wasn't a demonstration of desire for two sided discussion. So you're blaming your bad behavior on the thread?
