InshAllah i will be travelling for umra . I have 15 days off from work. My plan is as follow Go to Makkah mukaram, do Umrah stay 1 or 2 day & then travel to Madina munawarah and do itekaaf in masjid e nabwi for the last 10 days and EID also in madina. I met a friend today who said its better to do the opposite , that is to stay 1-2 days in madina & then last days in Makkah. He said most of the people do this and come for khatmul quran dua in haram while the crowd is less in Madina munawarah in the last 10 days. I dont want to compare both of these sacred places. I just want to know what is the best way of spending 15 days (Last 15 days of ramadan). All i know is that there is something good if you pray 40 consecutive prayers in madina and because Itekaaf is the sunnat of our beloved muhammad saw its better to do it in madina (my feeling) . Can anyone guide me on this..? :S
