This is probably the best and most extensive book on "animal symbols" I've ever read. When we see an animal, they each have a specific meaning and message.

Dreammoods says this - To see birds in your dream, symbolizes your goals, aspirations and hopes. To dream of chirping and/or flying birds, represents joy, harmony, ecstasy, balance, and love. Even though yours isn't a dream, I believe seeing them often are signs which can be also read as symbols used in dreams.
