Dear Richard,

I hope it all goes well for you being made a subdeacon it is a great honour and duty. I am afraid I don't know much about the subject. But I do know that all the subdeacons I have ever know including our priest's son where a cassock as well as the subdeacon's robes. I hope that is of some help.
