Kupwara based Vajr Division hosted an Iftaar Party in the Holy month of Ramzan at Kupwara on 13 Aug 12. The function was attended by large number of important personalities of civil society, government official intelligentia and opinion makers of Kupwara town and nearby areas. General Officer Commanding Vajr Division graced the occasion of conveyed his blessings and good wished to the Awam and prayed for an atmosphere of harmony, trust and peace to prevail.

The occasion provided an excellent platform for Army, JKP and Government officials including elected Sarpanches and Panches to interact with each other and with Awam and exchanged views. The General Officer Commanding expressed his appreciation about the close and cordial relation between the Army, District Administration, Police, Paramilitary Force and Awam which facilitated the joint efforts of ushering in an era of long lasting peace in the area.
