I just got back from Jamaica and the parts I was in was mostly dark skinned Black people, who look "pure" or near "pure" SSA. This was in Northeastern St Elizabeth, places like Balaclava, Brae's River, George's Valley, Elim, and Mayfield, Manchester. You don't even see Brown people for miles and miles. To see Brown people you got to go into Santa Cruz and Mandeville, but even there, the majority is dark skinned Black, "pure" or near "pure" SSA. These aforementioned towns and areas looked like any video of Haiti so I am voting they're both equally Black. Just different African origins.

I think Jamaicans tend to be taller on average. ---------- Post added 2012-05-26 at 23:06 ---------- Here's a video of Maggoty, St. Elizabeth, right by where I was at so you can see an example of the common pheno there. |

Why didn't you ask "Who is has a higher percentage of SSA admixture?" Unless you're really asking about hue/color. But I don't think so.
If you exclude the Jamaicans who have Chinese and East Indian admixture, I'd guess they're about equally SSA. Just guessing based on Haitians and Jamaicans I know in NYC, though. |

You mean the other way around....who has a higher percentage of non-SSA admixture being that they're both predominantly SSA...it cannot be considered SSA admixture when you're that SSA. |
