I know the Indian media loves to sensationalize things, but I seriously doubt that was set-up. Conditions are quite stark and sad in that state. You would know, it was part of Bihar before. I have been to the capital, Patna and some other parts, and was "shocked" to see the poverty. It is nothing like the poverty we see in our cities of India.

Regarding divorce/re-marriage that is in the Muslim context. Most Indians are all right with that, since Muslim people are well integrated within the society. Burping..? Please. Indians burp -- left/right/center while eating, and is in fact taken as a good sign, that the food is enjoyed and digested.
