Yes. And that's why places where people aren't allowed to use birth control because of religion have way higher birth rates.

Let me show you why. I've lived in this city my whole life. I know it well. It is a perfect racial study of a minority majority city of Mexicans verses whites as those are the only real two major peoples there.



San Antonio Texas. Racial makeup of city: 75% Mexican, 25% white. Whites live in the North of the city and on the sides, Mexicans live in the center and the South of the city. Now take a look at this map.






People need to understand that Mexicans aren't Europeans, they are primarily Mestizo's and Amerindians with some Spanish blood. They didn't culturally and civilly cross over. They aren't us in more frank terms.

They are still very primal. They don't even consider birth control. It isn't even on their minds. They will and do have kids at 15 years old, and en-mass.

After women joined the workforce en mass salaries changed so that now it requires two people to work in order to pay the bills and support a family. With no one at home all the time to raise children it has become harder to have more than one or two.

if you ever visited a Mexican middle class family in the middle of Mexico you would see they are a regular family that does everything in a western European manner.

If they were really how you say, why has Mexico's population not gone crazy out of control.

You also have to realize that Mexicans are on average Catholics and very religious. The ones living in USA are the ones with no education and do not understand how contraceptives work so this also adds to it.

Yeah the middle and upper class Mexicans don't have such values, but the reality is the rest do, and the reality also is that 'the rest' makeup over 50% of Mexicans in the U.S.

So, numerically speaking, the average Mexican in the U.S. DOES have those values of no birth control and age-old Catholicism of 5 kids by 20.

The answer is simple when we talk about Europe anyway. Two world wars took out the strongest men from the gene pool. The cowards and the weaklings survived and they tried to divide the females amongst themselves according to loser tactics. That's why they introduced the pill and women's lib in the first place. It's individual for each woman (physical health) and each relationship (stability, social support). One size doesn't fit all.
