Most PRs look very similar to north Africans. You can ask any other north African living in north America, they'll tell you how many times they have been confused for being PR, or have even themselves confused PRs for being fellow north Africans.

I don't doubt there is similarity (you find eurasian-african mixes in both regions) but I have seen a thread on Puerto Ricans and they didn't look like Algerians/Berbers , except few individuals...I believe it is more about individuals to individuals. "Hispanic" is a mistake easily for MENAS , my mother's half sister went to USA and people guessed from Lebanese to Iraqi, there is no one guess either.

Interesting Wickedgirl. Just going by the usernames and what I think their background is, I find most perceptions as expected except for the Irish guess and yours.
BTW, this not a cause for argument.

Here's mines: (from the NJ/NYC area)

1. foreign white guy (a white guy that doesn't look typical for the usual WASP/North West Euro or even Italian descended ones around here)

2. Hispanic (generic). Could be Caribbean Hispanic or Central/South American or Brazilian.

4. Middle Easterner, or foreign white guy.

One thing I find interesting about Zidane is he looks charasmatic as hell. There are very few people who have that same aura, in my opinion. A few off the top of head: Patton, John Wayne, Neal Cassidy, Jim Morrison, Rimbaud...

1. White American or some sort of foreigner. Probably arab or something. There something off about him. He reminds me a turkish guy from my class.

2.Central American. Probably Honduran or Nicaraguan. Also Brazilian. For any reason I'm thinking of a poor one lol.

4. White American or European. Maybe Arab. There something about the nose...

5. Puerto Rican or Dominican. It depends. If I see him here in my neighborhood I'd just asumme he's a random Dominican. He even reminds me my friend's brother.
