I have a question for the Europeans and those who live/lived in Europe. Are Cubans seen as Black people in Europe?

My aunt's husband is Swiss and he told me most Cubans in Switzerland are Black. Also when his Swiss friend came to Miami, he was so surprised there were so many white Cubans. He said, "I thought all Cubans were Black!?"
However, he was also surprised to see so many white Colombians. In Switzerland he was also used to seeing Brown and Black Colombians.

I've had white Miami Cubans tell me in an angry type manner how a lot of people around the world think they are all Black. Even in Colombia, they see Cuba as a Black country, and when I tell my Black Colombian friends that Cuba has tons of whites, they don't believe me. They say Cuba is never going to be seen as white, it's a Black Caribbean country. My perspective is very different from others because most of my life I thought most Cubans were white, being I'm from Miami.

Castros are whites and they create image of Cuba in large way. But I would say, mostly mulattos.

Cubans are stereotyped as mulattoes here in Spain but those who are like Castro and look white are considered white latinos,well Spaniards don't use the word white that much as Americans or the British may do,despite some race worriors on the net Spaniards don't care very much about "whiteness"

"Cuban" or "Latino" regardless of race a white Cuban like Castro or Pitbull wouldn't be considered a mulattoe I just said that Spaniards think that the majority of Cubans are mulattoes not that all cubans are mulattoe and also as i said before Spaniards don't give a fuck about who's white or who's not as Americans and the british do,it's not a Spaniard thing it's an anglo mentality that's why the Spanish or Portuguese mixed with the natives and the salve and din't invent the "one drop rule" Spaniards never been obssesed with purity

I don't know I think Brazilians and Cubans equally but the blackness or whiteness of any Country or group isn't a topic Spaniards care to discuss so I am just assuming actually

I don't know really I know that there are many Nigerians but I can't differenciate black they all look west African to me

How about accent? A Nigerian's accent in Spanish is going to be way different than an Angolan's .... Well you'd probably confuse an Angolan/Cape Verdean for being a Black Brazilian.

I don't have immigrant friends my brother has latin american friends(Colombia and Venezuela) but immigrants of SSA or Indian/Pakies I'd rarelly see an ethnic Spaniard,a gypsy or a descendant of immigrants interacting with immigrants because more immigrants are poor and uneducated and work for the black market,it's not like America where you receive the most brilliant immigrants

Dominicans are the blackest immigrants here imo, besides africans of course. Cubans are a bit whiter.
