I would hate to be reincarnated as a gypsy; or even worse - Kyte.

I would least want to be an Indian.
You would have to be more spiritually evolved to want to reincarnate in India.

You may not want to be reincarnated in America either since aspects of the indian culture you hate so much are taking root here as well, and not just in the New Age community:

1. Polls show that close to 30% of Americans believe in Reincarnation

2. More than a third of americans are cremated

3. Tens of millions of americans practice Yoga

Etc

Stick to your Egyptian-derived belief in one life, bodily resurrection after death and eternal Hell or Heaven. And your Hebrew-derived faith that God needs blood sacrifice. You are not yet ready for indian spirituality.

Is somehow a practise of throwing dead bodies into the Gang river part of the spiritual evolution?
I'd prefer to be less evolved then.

Which answer to the question "what happens after death" makes the most sense: Extinction, Resurrection or Reincarnation?

Ancient Egypt taught bodily Resurrection after death followed by eternal heaven or hell, and christians and muslims continue to subscribe to this belief. India teaches Reincarnations until eventual return to the Source/God. Atheist materialists teach complete extinction/annihilation at death.

There is no possible rational or moral defense for the belief in bodily resurrection and eternal Hell. And until science can explain the origins of consciousness atheists cannot presume to know that bodily death means the end of consciousness as well.

That is of course your choice. Europeans are not known to value spirituality as much as other races.

And the concept of "There are 10 souls, a generation later there are 30 souls, a generation later there are 300 souls, and they're all reincarnated" makes much more sense.

The world is far more densely populated with life, be it human, animal, or plant than it had been in the past.

In Gnostic schools, it's taught that souls split up, dividing to go into several new bodies. But souls can't be thought of as individual entities like bodies. It doesn't make sense at first but so does a lot of stuff in Christianity, Islam, Judaism etc... gotta be why one has to commit to some research

On what basis are you assuming that an eternally fixed number of "souls" makes more sense than an ongoing process?

And why aren't you defending your christian belief in bodily resurrection after death followed by eternal heaven and hell? How the hell () do you manage to make sense out of that???

What I would not like to be:
Anything Western, really... sick and tired of their misguided philosophical ideas...

What I would like to be:
Maybe a bit of Indonesian, mixed with my own Filipino ancestry and soul, would be nice! Why? They have ALWAYS been nice to me... really nice! Plus the whole Javanese thing is brilliant!

I have no intention of debating the merits of western religion vis-a-vis eastern religion. Neither can be proven nor disproven.

Abrahamic religions are primarily faith-based, and so there is no sense in trying to argue the rationality of Heaven or of Judgment. People who believe in these concepts do so because of faith... and that's not something an argument on the internet is going to change.

In other words you are saying that your fellow Sicilian Saint Thomas Aquinas, most influential Doctor of your Catholic Church, was a misguided fool for trying to rationalize christian dogma using pagan Greek Philosophy?
