Yeah and the state they live in Colombia is called Choco, but nowadays most Colombians just think of Africa in Colombia when they hear the word Choco.

yea the word "choco" has nothing to do with the food chocolate,

and has no meaning to africans, chocolate isin't even native to africa, its native to central america.

You are correct. Choco is an Indigenous word. However since the state of Choco is now 90% Black, Choco has become synonymous to Black. Choco is not short for chocolate or anything like that lol, yeah chocolate/cacao is from Central/South America.
