I also have issues with Indian culture (and yet, not assimilated people of Indian heritage).

With any population group, I think the best solution for you would be to assimilate yourself to the region and country where you live. The largest ethnic population in the United States are German-Americans, and living here you wouldn't think that at all due to how assimilated they are. You rarely hear a peep about them as they see themselves as Americans first and foremost and most don't really care about their ancestral homelands at all. The same can be said for many immigrant population groups in multicultural societies.

So, if you don't like being "Indian", be an Indian-American like Nikki Haley who, if I hadn't known otherwise, wouldn't have even thought was Indian... and culturally, she isn't, despite being full-blooded.

I would advise someone that is unhappy with their racial background to either get over it, around it, or used to it because there isn't much else one can do about it. Unless, of course, they are as powerful and rich as Michael Jackson was back in his prime. Then just have a few operations.

Indeed. Indians come in many phenotypes. It isn't a race, just an ancestry group.

She's white in the same way that you are brown, I suppose... but her parents are both Sikhs from the Punjab, if I'm not mistaken. So, that would make it easier for her to be seen as native, I suppose.

And then on the other side of the coin you have Indian-Americans like Sanjaya from American Idol who are even half white (Italian, in his case) and yet most people think he's black.

The widescale Indian migration to the US has only really just begun, and it will be this generation who decides the future of the community. If Nikki Haley and Bobby Jindal are the standard bearers, then Indian Americans will follow the trend of other Asian Americans and become model minority groups that assimilate quite well, but keep their competitive edge in academia.

Maybe that is why it is so rare to see Indians date anyone other than non-Indians and non-Whites. Personally one of the main reasons I hate being Indians so much is that we don't date Hispanics that much and that is okay but we look down on Indians that date Hispanics.

Believe me, you other Asians don't have nearly HALF as bad as Indians have it and it is so sad. We are so strict and uptight about EVERYTHING.

I know what kind of unlikeable pretentious snobs Indian immigrants in the US can be... aunties gossiping, parents comparing you to other people's children, always worrying about not losing face, etc. it can be a big, big burden. Either just get over your family and accept things the way they are or severe any links with your family as soon as you are capable of sustaining yourself.

1. Indian people in general are by the far the biggest White worshipers on the face of planet earth and are by far the most racist people on the fact of planet earth. I have seen Indians are dark as coal hate Blacks and say the most racist things about Blacks. I hate that the Indian caste system and that the Indian culture in general is racist.

2. Indian people chase after Whites like dogs. They try to look up to them and worship them and hold them as gods of some sort. I also hate it that when Indian people marry out, they don't do it how Blacks do it. When Blacks marry out they marry Asians, Hispanics and Whites. When Indians marry out they exclusively marry Whites, not even White Hispanics, to them White Hispanics are criminals just like all Hispanics are.

3. I am so tired of receiving flak from other Indians for being with a Latina. So what? Just because they have their stereotypes they want to interfere in my relationship and tell me that I am a bad person for dating a woman of Hispanic descent? A descent far better than their own descent?

I know I am kind of breaking down in a way right now but I really do not like being an Indian. I hate it that we only marry our own and when we do marry interracial we EXCLUSIVELY marry Whites.

I also hate the fact that Indians are opposed to dating and marrying Blacks and Hispanics here in the US and give other Indians flak for dating and marrying Blacks and Hispanics.

I give you the advice to learn to be proud of India... And its nothing wrong to learn from whites they are the most advanced race and the rising yellows learn from whites too. I also admire white superiority and im not against race-mixing with whites but against race-mixing with everything else.
