In my country, the most number of tourists would come from:

1. United States
2. Japan
3. South Korea
4. Hong Kong
5. Australia
6. New Zealand
7. The Netherlands
6. Taiwan
7. Germany
8. Canada
9. China
10. Spain

And what's interesting is that some of the tourists come for different reasons, for example Koreans would go to the Philippines to learn English. I mean literally, thousands of them would come in drones to learn English for a month or two while hanging out in beaches and then head back.

Many tourists are actually Filipinos who grew up somewhere else, like the United States or those who were working abroad and would go home to see their families. Sometimes, they come here and have some "work" done and go back to their countries looking different, very much like the plastic surgery tours in Africa or Thailand.

In 2010, Turkey attracted more than 28.6 million foreign tourists, which made Turkey a top-10 destination in the world for foreign visitors.

I'm surprised Americans aren't on the list, they are common here during the summers.

Also some finns who take the ferry to Stockholm in order to buy snus, and while they wait for the ferry to go back they go into souvernire shops and buy dala horses
