well im sure the photographer took in consideration age to base his comment..
And the picture isnt a children but rather a teenager. He/she is talking about a kind of blondism completly absent in arabs or even south europeans.. And clearly mentions that this kind of blondism is commoner in copenhagen than in stockholm.. at least going by her experience.
she is probably not more then 11ish...these features vanish during the next 5 years...i dont know about Danes on average, but again this sort of picture is a very bad exsample...my Turkish Gf's cousin is as blond/fair as this and she is about 5-6 now, but in a few years it should fade... too bad i cant post her family pictures here..

Well maybe he just didnt select the most appropiate picture.. but he just used it to show the kind of blondness he meant..

The point is that if some photographer, whom are usually more aware about people looks and notice more details(for obvious reasons) claims that lightblonde is commoner in copenhagen than stockholm.. it kinds of reject the common belief that danes are the darkest scandos. Most people is quite shallow and simplist and believe cause one country seems to be more northern geographically they should be lighter...

The fact is that if some photographer, whom are usually more aware of people looks and noticing details make such claim as those kind of hair shades are commoner in copenhagen than stockholm.. it kinds of reject the common belief that danes are the darkest scandos. Most people is quite shallow and simplist and believe cause one country seems to be more northern geographically they should be lighter... which is not true in many cases..
this map seems to be good in terms of lightness %...

There is no reason why southern sweden/norway should be darker than central sweden/norway. There is no way in hell the brits are blonde than north germans and dutch. Welsh as blonde as frisian?

Its quite simple and obvious that who might have created such map believes only in stereotypes and has hardly left home...
ive lived in UK and all along the Western shores of Norway plus ive been all over Europe and this map seems to fit my findings, except maybe Ireland and Wales...

It doesnt make any sense to me i have been to estonia, and have been to denmark and known many people in facebook aswell and even keep contact with a few of them time to time.. most estonian women i come across are definitely not blondes, they are just some light shade of brown or a very dark blond color, no comparision with some places of denmark and friesland, im not talking about stereotypes but about what i have seen with my own eyes..
Tallinn is 50% Estonian, the rest are mostly Russian swarthoids. Sometimes you can get a feeling that you are walking on the streets of a town next to the Black sea. Thank Soviet occupation and colonization for that.

Your trolling has been very easy to disprove already from your first post. Go check out the Estonian anthropology thread in the anthropology section. Tens of thousands of individuals were viewed by the legendary anthropologist, Juhan Aul.

I have no idea what do you have against Brits, Estonians and the Finns.

Well i have visited it aswell.. im living currently close to friesland..and let me tell you brits are way way darker than people over here, thing which contradict the map totally... i have also been to denmark and there is no comparision...I also have never felt short in britain unlike i have felt in other neighbouring countries... Most brits are brunns and atlantids and mousy brown haired.. 20% of blonde people would be a good estimation for the UK... which makes them still darker than germans and even poles....

taken from another forum:

"England hardly deserves a mention. I am a natural 'proper' blonde (not blondey brown or anything!) and I am struggling to think of a single person I know who shares my hair colour by nature."

this dosnt make any sense, atleast in the former Danelaw areas as there most people seem to have ancestry directly From Denmark.. i think your point of view is personal and is not a general truth..

Debian, tell us already where we can find those Finnish morphs you were writing about in the initial message! We don't want to get the impression you are making up things to drive an agenda, do we?

Another sports national team comparison:
Volleyball Finnish:
Volleyball Swedish:
Estonian team:

There are 2 pics of Niko Kapanen on that collage of Finns. And one Antti Miettinen missing.
Oops.

Well, I guess I wanted to counter the Sedin twins with the Kapanen twins. It doesn't change the numbers, since both Kapanen and Miettinen have blond hair and blue eyes.

---------- Post added 2011-03-23 at 15:00 ----------

There's a fine line between "dark blonde" and "light brown" that you seem to ignore, you also use different photos (with different light and background) for them all, which makes f.e. Magnus Johansson look more dark haired than he actually is.
I didn't count dark blond or light brown as blond here. I thought they were the same thing.

I think the lighting was fairly consistent for most of the NHL players that I could get good photos for, but it may be different for some of the non-NHL players.

Most Swedes have part German ancestry, and also part Finnish ancestry. Weinhandl is considered Swedish because he was born to Swedish parents. If you say so, that makes the Swedish sample a bit darker then.

Are people in Nordland really lighter than other Norwegians, are there any hard evidence that people in Finnmark are darker than people from Møre og Romsdal?

sorry but I think many of these maps are crap based on old psuedoscienfic ideas(one of the reasons why Finnmark is always darkest)

voyager would you buy the fact that the welsh are as blonde as frisians?
there is no way most of uk is that blonde anyways.. a men who would like to date blondes could feel quite dissapointed about the fact that most girls over there were of the fake variety.. ... If britain and uk were as blonde as it means it wouldnt explain why the diaspora countries are dominated by brown haired atlantids and atlanto/brunns .. australia..nz.. US and so on.

It was you who said there is a major difference; that for example Swedes are clearly lighter than Finns.
and consider lighting is different in all of them.. Yeah, too weak camera flashes and too little hydrogen peroxide in Sweden to prove your point.

when did i say so? I just pointed out that scandinavians have less dark haired individuals than finns (people with really dark hair), and suggested the false belief that danes are the darkest scandinavians, when in comparision some parts of norway are definitely darker and even a photographer commented the relatively higher prescence of extreme blondism in copanhagen compared to stockholm......

Everytime i come along those average morphs by country i noticed immediately how darker the finnish morph is compared to swedish, danish and dutch morph,(havent seen much norwegian morphs to be honest) and it's no lighter than german morph actually, why do finns always have the stereotype that they are the blondest people in the world.. i've never understood it anyways...

If i base my experience on real life .. scandinavians, specially the danish are actually lighter than finns on average.. there is no way finns would come out as being lighter.. many finns have pretty dark hair(naturally) which is almost completly absent in some parts of scandinavia (mainland denmark comes to mind).[/QUOTE]

According to those bolded sentences that wasn't your point. You said ON AVERAGE, too. If you only referred to the very dark haired Finnish individuals how were you able to separate them from the morphs because you based your claim on them? Just by looking a morph, you can't say anything about the variance within the group, do you?
