Spaniard movie stereotype is a mix between mexican and gypsy third world country. They think that Spain is Central America. There was an "A Team" episode where spanish soldiers were gypsy-morish-mexicans , and Madrid Airport was unpavimented. There is a film , "Vantage point" that is suposed that happened in Salamanca but was made in Mexico with mexican extras.
In the film "Thunder in the sun" , a group of basque inmigrants in Western EEUU were represented as flamenco dancers , and phenotipically darker than real basques. But the worst that I have seen is this Mc Gyver episode. ETA terrorist are represent as undeveloped rural mexicans with "txapela-beret, that dont know the diference between a geologist and a physician. Their weapons are from XVIth century . We should kidnap Richard Dean Anderson ( Mc Gyver) , and torture him as revenge ![]() |

correction: gays with same aged partners and lots of female friends are presented as the good guys, those homosexual men, who like under 16 y/o are on the other hand supposed to be the bad guys. -All international terrorist are some unknown generic Muslim (usually Arab), Eastern European, or German. ![]() -if the black person is not a lead, then he is a sidekick of a white guy, teaches him commonsense, appears out of know where to save his life/or instruct him as to what he should do, never ever touches a woman, will die for the white character he has just met that day, is usually some blue collar worker but seems to know everything about the world(we call this the magic negro). -Eastern European women are all spies or sex slaves -All Brits are upper-class and proper speaking and arrogant, even if they are garbage men. -Classical movies (Rome and Greece) must speak British English. |

Males with blond hair in American college movies = Spoiled and bullying mama's boys who have the schools most attractive girl against her will (but lose her in the end of the movie, as the poor, dark-haired gentleman wins her heart). ![]() It is "revenge of the nerds". Historically the dark haired Italian looking guy was the bad guy. Even today, usually a guy playing a vampire, a demon, the Devil almost always look Med. However, often the "fascist", Euro-Terrorist, sadist...they are blond. ![]() ![]() |

American cops eat donuts all the time. I miss some movie stereotypes, though. Growing up, the black guy was always the first to die. That was a funny one. |

In American movies the villain gets killed in the end, in European movies he gets brought into prison. In superhero movies, the villain usually goes to jail. There was a big uproar about Two Face dying at the end of The Dark Knight, and people wanting him to come back for the third movie. ![]() |

Not necessarily. Even the Greek gods usually had a love interest of that kind. Just like at least two of the few Roman emperors that are usually regarded as good ones (Traian and Hadrian). Pederasty was commonplace then, but a man who has a sexual relationship with a boy is now quite taboo. Hence why most movies about ancient Greece don't even cover it. Even Alexander (which was ridiculed) only had a consensual same-sex relationship between Alexander and a peer of his. |
