This didn't suprise me at all. The far right BNP has long been pro-Israeli actually, but thats not really where i want to go with my comment. Its difficult to really envision what exact specific goals these English demonstrators really have in mind. You could assume some want an England which accepts immigration and enjoys the integration of various people without this unassimilative, anti-religious baggage of some migrants displaying intolerance for others. OR you could assume some of those protestors also may have White supremacist and Euro-centric ideals. One thing for sure though, is that English Jews are well integrated into English society and on the whole appear indifferent behaviourally from others. Secular Jews (outside of Israel) and British Christians and Catholics (past the days of colonialism) are of no comparable threat to others in terms of the way they practice their religion. Arguably, perhaps Muslims truly adhere properly to their 20+ centuries old texts and maybe thats partially the issue. This unity in Europe based on Islam is a threat in any case by those few radicals. Even Jews long enjoyed their sub-divisions from one another, before the formation of Israel. (many still do after) I don't think this is an issue of race what so ever. We never hear of Christian and Jewish Middle Easterners causing havoc. I think the longer radicalism prevails, the longer Muslim communities will suffer which is not what they deserve either and it is a shame to see this. It is difficult for many to accept the flaws of strict religious adhereance and how it doesn't mesh nicely with the current standard of living desired in the developed world. Its very contradictory basically, being highly religious, rich and living a self-centred lifestyle (less communal) and i would think many religious people carry this guilt with them to bed.

Unless there was an epidemic of homophobic attracts by Muslims, which there isn’t, why even mentioned it?
