Default What ethnic groups you think can relate or get along more with each other?
Taking about ethnic groups I can see that their is certain ones (like on this forum) for example, tend to lean more to each other, when discussions about topics happen, people like say Finns or Russians will end up mostly in the same thread and therefore won't mix much with other groups, but off course I can say this is probably just a part of human nature.

This what I wrote was only a example. By the way anyone can give out if they want on who they get along or relate to whether in or out of the forum.

I get along with people from Europe better than Americans, personally, even though you can see the USA from where I grew up.

Latin peoples all have very much culturally in common, so a thread about Mexico or Italy or even the Philippines may end up evolving into discussion about one country or another.

It's pretty much the same in the real world. (Light-skinned) Hispanics and Italians get together quite frequently. Two of my best friends are Puerto Rican/Italian mixes, for example. While there's often a language and class barrier, the cultural bond tends to be stronger.

I have more in common with my Latino friends than I do white Irish or Jewish kids who grew up in the same neighborhood.

I'm sorry to say I've never met an Assyrian proper. A few Lebanese, an Armenian or two, but no Assyrians.

This is the first time I've really disagreed with you. I've never heard of any Italian feeling kinship with mestizos.

Mostly with Castizos and White Latin Americans. I don't know any Dominican/Italian couples, and very few Mexican/Italian couples, but numerous Cuban/Italian couples and Puerto Rican/Italian couples. Interestingly enough, though, I know quite a few half-Italian/half-Filipinos. Probably only because of the area, though. NY/NJ has huge amounts of both.

I feel a stronger bond with Cubanos than other Caribbeans because of how conservative (and white) most of their emigrants are, and obviously with Argentines because most of them are of Italian heritage.

Do I feel kinship with Bolivians? Not really.

Ohh okay that I can see. From being Cape Verdean and Portuguese I feel a lot of kinship with both white and mulatto Brasilians, but from my Sicilian side I'd feel closer to white Latinos or pred. white Puerto Ricans or Cubans.

My Sicilian friend just moved from NYC to Miami a month or so ago. The local Boriquas and Cubanas have been very kind to him.

They probably think he is one of them.

I also feel no kinship with Mexicans. To me they're the New World version of Eurasians/Hapas. Nothing like Italians.

Umm it's kinda weird but, being a Latin American myself, I don't get along quite well with Latinos from other countries (such as Brazil, Colombia, Peru, Mexico, etc).

It's because I think they're different than us (Chileans) in the treat to other people. For example, they've talked to you for about 3 days and they already think they're your friends or something. It's just so annoying. And then they love to touch people, even if they don't know you they give you a hug... It kinda shocks me. Same with Americans and the other Southern Coners (Argentina, Uruguay) but at a lower level.

So I get along better with people from UK, Spain, Sweden, Finland, Poland, France, Norway, Denmark or Switzerland, maybe Italy and Portugal. Germans are TOO boring for me, they're the extreme opposite of Latin Americans.

I don't get along with Arabs, because of their religion which disgousts me; and I think I'd get along well with Black people, unless they're as close in their treat as Latin Americans.

Biologically, yes.

But they still have the Latin family values and strong Catholic faith, as well as similar cuisine. The Mestizo/Castizo/Whites can even pass for Italian in some cases.

I would not date an Aztec, but a reasonable Mestiza girl of Mexican heritage perhaps.

Castizos and whites, probably. A true (50/50) mestizo? I doubt it.

I can get along quite well with Serbs, Irish, Romanians, Brits, Portuguese, Greeks, Turks, Argentinos and etc..

Italians from Trieste, Trento and Pescara are cool, don't know so much about those from the south Harad hahah.. the few Albanians I met in real life were a stupid and very agressive bunch of fucks.. but those who I know from these fora are very cool.. so I guess it was a bad luck..

I have some Finnish, Norwegian and Swedish fellows, most of them musicians..

So I think I can get along is pretty much with many ethnicies.
