Default Poverty within South African Whites
http://www.boston.com/bigpicture/201...south_afr.html

I know there are poor people everywhere, but it is kind of surprising to see such level of poverty in what basically is a Western country. I also wonder if such picture is a recent development or were such living conditions a norm for poor white folk in South Africa during the apartheid era?

niggas be hating on dem krackazzz.

I would say it's a result of the black authority wanting to get back at the whites. But the only whites they could get back against were the 'poorer' whites.

It would make sense.

Well don't many Afrikaners still employ lots of blacks as cheap labor? That might be why they don't want to create their own separate country, don't you?

I don't know how the Afrikaners can be so dysfunctional. I don't understand how the rich Afrikaner families can just abandon the poorer ones. The poorer families have no security net.

Terre'Blanche had black employees!!

There is even Poverty like that in the U.S. Mexicans & Guatemalans live worse than this in my Town.
They live in tents in the woods sometimes. Even as much as 50 in a 3 bedroom house.
They often have no furniture & often just sleep in sleeping bags.

Just 15 minutes from me is a Trailer park called Onion town. It looks just like that.

My mom just 15 years ago saw kids from there that were 7 years old without shoes & all rotten out teeth & dirty clothes.

Exactly like the Pictures.

But, Now Onion town is becoming more Mexican & Black.

My friend had a black guy jump into his truck while he was meter reading for the Electrical company.
&
My friends mother was breast feeding in front of this area & a guy with a shotgun told her she has to leave

My other friend was walking right by that area & people starting shooting at them.

In my country, only the mentaly retarded and rebelious homeless people live that way. Most people, even the poorest, have the means to survive in life. And you don't see kids without shoes in the streets.

Poverty show quite a lot not only about how much money a country makes, but how a country takes care of people.

It is acceptable that in a very poor country you would see poverty widespread. But medium income and developed countries had the resources to solve the basic social problems. If the governments do nothing is because fascism have cold theirs hearths.

The U.S. is an evil capitalistic nation, you know. A country that is indolent or indiferent with the poverty of the fellow human being. A country where poors don't count because they are losers.

That wise man, Chavez, said once that George Bush smelled like sulphur.... I bet your whole country has the same smell.

Pingin, so today you're a socialist...So what did you mean by bragging like this only a few days ago:

Chile is poorer than Canada, but manage its resources in a more rational manner.

If somebody here doesn't work doesn't eat. Simple.

America has more oppurtunity for people than anywhere in the World. Minorities in England live in significantly more poverty than Minorities in the U.S

The Capitalist system is the best system & the system where people have the most freedom & technology progresses the most.

Latin America is noturious for having some of the largest class systems in the world.
Poverty in the U.S is closer to the Upper class of many Latin American countries.

Are you losing your mind? YOu spoke out against chavez recently. LOL Bush is bad. Chavez is worse.

You know the answer. Pinguin doesn't hold opinions, he just says the most inflammatory statement appropriate for a particular audience.

Nope I am a nationalist. I don't believe in that universal equality that bolcheviks prayed.

I believe a country should worry about its peoples.

Latin America is a poor region that is been developing recently. The U.S. is developed and rich since 1776, and has had two centuries to fix its problems and it haven't done anything.

What!? "evil capitalistic" "Chavez wise". Are you on drugs?

anyway, they must be exaggerating, since its impossible that in the US the poverty is more extreme than in Chile.

And I wouldn't bring white poor people from South Africa to live here, they are poor for some reason, we don't need more poor people.... Unless they are not criminals and they like to work in the harvest.
