I have found that in many countries or within certain ethnic groups, there is a gender disparity when it comes to physical beauty.

In some ethnicities or countries women tend to be a lot prettier than their men, or viceversa, men look much better than the women.

Have any of you noticed this too?

A clear example of men being better looking than women is the UK, where you can find quite a lot of very handsome British men, but the average woman is often not as pretty.

I also have noticed this "men looking better than women among American blacks, where men to be relatively handsome, tall, very strong because of genes, while their women are often not that pretty and with a tendency to be very heavy.

Anglo societies in general to me seem to be a lot like the UK; I mean American whites, Canadians, australians etc, you find many of the males in this places to be very very good looking, while their women not as much, look at the US or Australia for example.

The reverse happens in countries like Ethiopia or Somalia where some of the women are complete knock outs, very gorgeous but the men are for the most rather unnatractive. Japan is also a great example of pretty girls, not very good looking men and in latin countries too.
I found countries like Brazil or Colombia to have the same phenomenon, the women are more than often very pretty, with great physique because of genes whle the men are not as good looking. the Exception was Argentina where the average guy tends to be quite handsome but the average girl is not as pretty.

and here in Europe we have plenty of examples, where men are very graceful and elegant while women are rough looking, Holland comes to mind, also Belgium. And then you have Russia or many eastern european countries where women are quite beautiful on average but a lot of the men are not easy on the eye.

I can also add Spain, Spaniard men are often very handsome with rough masculine facial features, while Spaniard women tend to have very long noses and tiny upper lips which make them look a bit weird (sort of like penelope cruz) while its cousins in italy are the opposite, italian women are graceful and elegant and italian men are short, skinny, hairy and sort of shinny looking.

Even more this applies to men. In some countries men have hairdos, tan, fashionable dress etc, while in others men like that are considered 'gay'. Instead, you get clean-shaved muscular bouncers

That's true my cousin is married to a Syrian man and she said that women in the levant are always waxing,plucking their eyebrows,wearing tons of make up,using lots of products for hair and skin care while North African and European women have a very loose style
