Its uncommon but it is present. I think out of my whole family only two have brown hair, the rest black hair. Coloured eyes are even more rare. Out of my whole family, only one has green eyes the rest brown/dark brown.

No its not. That's his natural hair color. He is a Dahlik that lives on Eritrea's dahlak islands. Dahilk people are Yemeni in origin.

Hair and eye color has nothing to do with "race" (whatever race even means).

There are plenty of horners with blue, green and different eye colors.

Kenyan boy with blue eyes.

The rashaidia are the recent Arab tribe into Africa, as thats many of them have still kept some what of their Arabian features intact. But their were many other Arab tribes that settled before the Rashidia in the horn.

This is true, there has been influence from both sides of the red sea since the neolithic, however I was wondering if he was speaking about any recent migrations.. I know the dhalik islands are in the middle of the red sea, but i always thought it was inhabited by eritreans because it is closer to the eritrean side of the red sea, perhaps with some yemeni influence.

This guy is definitely not somali, i know because i'd seen the pic a few years back when their was a report about an ethiopian famine.
He clearly looks nothing like somali anyhow, look at the eyes

Though am not sure abt the kid, be it he's definitely not entirely somali but mixed with yemenite. Probably has a yemeni father or mother

Idk. The pic was on a somali site if I am not mistaken. And they said he was somali so it would make sense that he was.. In any event thats besides the point..

He could be some kind of coastal variant. Which happens to have blond hair (which will probably get darker as he gets older). Or he could belong to one of those somali clans that apparantly have yemeni or persian ancestry.

I thought the Rashaida were the only ones that were recently from arabia.
There are three noticeable Arabs in Eritrea--They are: Rashaida (from Saudi Arabia), Adeni (from aden, Yemen ) and Dahlik (Yemen).

Population:
Rashaida - 100,000
Adeni - 18,000
Dahlik - 3,500

Dahlik are the smallest, most assimilated and have been on the Dahlak Islands since 10-15 century ad. Their language is a mix of mostly Tigre, Tigrinya, Arabic and with a dash of Afar.

I was at a party with this girl. I forget her name but she used to prank call me after I broke up with her friend. I believe her name is Siham and is from Toronto. She's a singer and currently lives in Atlanta.

Her hair is not natural blonde.

You are right that's an ethiopian, i've seen ethioboy post him before on his 23andme thread as somali, but i didn't bother correcting him.
But the pic of the kid fishing is a Somali Barwani i believe.
