It's big when you give up a 2nd.

The Colts made a nice trade here if Davis can get into shape as they transition into less tampa 2 defense. Seems kinda odd for a rebuilding team like them to trade away 3/7 of their picks in next years draft.

Mike Wallace would've made a bit more sense to me. I know they are weak at corner, as well (and OL, NT, ILB, RB, S) but getting a young speedy WR for Luck to grow with makes a ton of sense-and Wallace, Wayne, and the TE duo would actually give him some nice weapons. Davis has become famous this offseason for being lazy (via Hard Knocks), but he's 24, and better than anything else the Colts have.

Just seems dangerous to bring in an underachiever on a rebuild and hand him a starting spot.

But how much would they have to give up for Wallace?

A rebuilding team like the Colts should definitely not trade 2 first rounders. Too many holes to fill.

Don't know.

A first rounder isn't a horrible cost, had they still had their second rounder.
