Ok, I live in PA, So I am around Steeler fans wherever I go. I work with them, I live around them, I drink with them. Admittedly, I don't live in Pittsburgh, and could be different there. On the whole, there are FAR worse football fans than Steeler fans. In fact where I live, I have a pretty even mix of Eagle, Ravens and Steeler fans around me. And of those three, Steeler fans rank third on the asshole meter.

i was in new orleans for the steelers game last year. saturday night, we had two steeler fans follow our group from the corner of bourbon and canal to harrah's chanting, 'here we go steelers, here we go, hmph, hmph' seriously that's really their chant. then at the game they were all over and really obnoxious and dirty. they all looked like they hadn't taken a shower in a week. all they could talk about was 6 rings. it was not an enjoyable walk out of the superdome for them after that game.
