He certainly made a huge sacrifice by changing the 10 million dollar cap hit in one year to a 2 million cap hit over 5 years. I wonder if that will make him spend the 10 million he gets this year any differently.

I don't think manning is a bad guy. But this certainly doesn't make him a good guy...still gets the 10 million up front...what's it matter to him if it's prorated or not? In fact, he's a bit more selfish to prorate it because he's doing it for the team to win while he's there rather than keeping it a one year thing and helping the cap in years to come...but that's really a management decision, sooo....

Hey. You changed your name. Again.

And shutup. Don't bring logic to my arguments.

Default Manning no longer a choker.
Congrats I guess.

As long as his asshole/whiner brother never wins one.

Methinks Peyton is the bigger asshole.

Case in point:

-His 14 million plus per year contract. Hell he already makes 10 mill plus from his commercials. If piggy Peyton hadn't blown the bank this would probably be the Colts 2nd or 3rd SB apperance.

-Throwing his Oline under the bus following last years AFC divisional loss to the Steelers

-And finally portraying such a "nice guy" image when, in reality, he's the same guy who rubbed his naked butt and rectum in the face of a female trainer when he was at Tennessee.

I'm extremely happy for Dungy and Marvin Harrison. Not Peyton.

I didn't say Peyton was a nice guy. But he never refused to play for a team before he was even drafted.

Yep. I'm really glad Dungy won. He's a great guy and deserves this more than anyone.

And I'm with Whiskey on hoping Eli never wins. I hate Peyton as much as the next guy, but Eli is a baby and a Giant, so.....

What was that, 10 years ago? How old was he at the time, 22?

I would be surprised to learn that Harrison and Dungy didn't pull some similar shit in college. I would also be surprised to learn that Manning was now the same guy that did that.

I'll never get why people give him crap for this...he was just pointing out that obvious...they had protection issues. It's just a case of bad journalism again, don't get sucked in by it.

When I was 17, I farted while a nurse was giving me a shot in the butt. I'm a bad person.

Completely agree with you, they had major protection issues.

But you don't come out IN THE MEDIA and say it. That's something you talk about in post game analysis with players and coaches and try and figure out how to improve it next time.

Give me a break. These guys get shit for not saying anything during PCs and they get shit for when they are honest.

Peyton...why did you lose the game...we had protection issues. That's a we...as in him and his team had protection issues. Then the media took over and made it into something it's not.
