Okay. I've been using bridge cameras for a while now, so it's time to take the plunge and go SLR. I've set a budget of £1000 (May go up to £1200).

Need body. (Obviously ) (12mp+)
Probably a basic lens. More importantly, a lens suitable for Airshows and motor racing.
Probably will need a battery grip as well.

I wont buy used, so if you guys can recommend me some decent kit for the budget, it'll be much appriciated.
