What a film. Great work and awesome acting. I was surprised to howmuch it kept me in tense.

It is that my brother told me to see it, else I would have completely missed it. It's even a 2009 release

What? Seriously?

That movie was sub-par is almost every area.

The "twist" was obvious 5 minutes into the movie.

I really liked it as well but I was hoping that Jamie Fox would die at the end. Gerard Butler is quite a good actor but really need to stop doing click flicks.

I thought it was pretty good. Very predictable and had a few plot holes, but decent flick anyway.

I am not a fan. Gerald Butler really pisses me off for some reason... I bet it is because he gives away iPads.

I agree with Scoobs on one part, I too wanted Jamie fox to bite the bullet at the end as well.
As for Gerard Butler , I can take him or leave him.
I liked him in this movie.
I liked him in "the ugly truth, 300 etc.
But many other movies, like " the bounty hunter" I just thought he sucked.

Average film at best. I also don't like the premise of the guy getting justice for his family by killing everyone.

I agree with Eberts take on the film, you enjoy it a little bit during the viewing of the film but in retrospect it's crap.

What better way to get justice than to kill those that took your family away. If I was in that situation I'm sure I would relish opportunity to return the favor.

Have you EVER made a positive comment about anything? Please PM when you do.

edit :

I thought the movie was ok. Good at the beginning, unrealistic towards the end.

What does that have anything to do with anything.

I don't like the film....when someone posts one that I like then I will surely leave a positive comment.

I don't think there are enough morally ambiguous action movie's these days so I thought this was more than decent, just shame about the ending really, I would have liked for him to get away but Hollywood dictates you can't get away scott free if you've committed a murder.

As for Gerard Butler, I think he's a pretty brilliant lead tough guy.

I loved Gamer & 300 but most of all I think he shines in"Rock n rolla" which I think to date is Guy Ritchie's best movie.

saw the movie recently. I really enjoyed it and thought it was smart. Would've preferred a different ending though.
