DRDO developing mine clearing robots and robot mules
 

The Defence Research Development Organisation (DRDO) is developing robotic soldierssaid DRDo Chief in a function in Coinbatore. The robots will be used for sensing and clearing mines. The outfit is also developing a robot mule to carry heavy luggage up to 400 kg to high altitudes.

More details will be avaliable by year end.

Must be like Lockheed Martin Multi-Function Utility/Logistics and Equipment Vehicle (MULE). The 3.5-ton vehicle has three different vehicle variants: transport, countermine and the Armed Robotic Vehicle.
