Default How I overcame hospitalization and medication by force
They force me, I force them. I was hospitalized 5 times, sometimes for many weeks without the ability to go home. Last time they arrested me for carrying my shinken without its' bag, strapped me down on a hospital bed for 12 hours, then I got a 10 day hospital stay, and was trapped in a room for 2 days. They had me on Rispiridal for a long, long time, until I made up my new theory just now:

I made up a new theory: If anyone gets near me, I will cut them with my shinken, and if they use a gun I'm toast anyways.

You see, egoless people are good at budo, but they don't force you to do things, and egoic people suck at budo, so I'm good to go.

Consider yourself lucky. Carrying a shinken without a bag around here will mean the armed police will need to have a quiet word - and maybe make you famous.

As for cutting someone with your shinken, you're about to do JSA a massive disservice. Not only do we have the fearmongering idiots trying to ban our weapons, we now have someone in our ranks trying to screw it all up for us.

Congrats to you. Neg-rep given.

If you have psychological/emotional problems, I suggest you see someone sharpish. No pun intended there.

WTF? In this country, just posting this sort of thing (which sounds like a threat) can sometimes get you a visit from the police. I thought Canadians were supposed to be nice?

Judging from this thread, and some of your other posts, I'm catching a whiff of troll...

Okay, I'm not posting anything for 24 hours because I got into a pattern.

Sorry about this, it's just that for the past 5 years people have forced me to take medication and I was really pissed off. They are messing with my biochemistry. I thought that I didn't have a choice whether to take them or not, which was part of my unconsciousness. Now I see that it was all a game that people put on to teach me humility.

But seriously, if a doctor tries to force me to take medication again he will get his head sliced off.

Please remove my negative rep now

My final post for 24 hours is this: It was an interesting idea that I am basically invincible. But someone please post a reply to this telling me why I asked for the hospitalization/imprisonment experience. I don't recall ever asking for it, I don't recall accepting it, I don't recall not trying to get out of it. HOW did it happen?

1: walking outside in black hakama, white gi, shinken in sheath.

2: dog barks at me, get scared, ego wants to cut it

3: two people come out of house, one husband very amused at me, one wife very scared and calls police

4: police come, handcuff me, indian police officer rolls down window and plays me some rockin' indian music while bobbing head and smiling

5: taken to VGH hospital, given bitter cranberry juice meds, strapped to bed for 12 hours.

6: taken to imprisonment room #1, egyptian stone bed (made out of plastic), door locked for one night

7: meet fellow budoshi, he is very good with spontaneous strikes, we spar, nurse says not allowed

8:taken to larger room with more freedom, have TV now, have phone

9: transferred! to Health Centre @ VGH, FREE! Except I can't go home but on weekends. 8 days after I was transferred here I was set free, but the experience was so negative because I: thought I was powereless.

*bows* thank you for the negative rep

btw, these are facts. THey actually happened.

This happened not 3 weeks ago, and then I woke up and met all of you cool guys. Thanks for ranting with me, moderators please delete the stuff about Ignat'z death that I wrote.

I feel genuinely concerned about any human being suffering from a mental problem. Staying awake and typing nonsense will not help. Rest, get better, practice kendo, find balance. Seriously, try to sleep.

I think I'm pretty good with a sword, but they must have very strict judges for yondan. Any idea what kind of skill will get you a yondan?

I started Iaido less than two weeks ago.
Two weeks in and you're using a shinken? Explain, using illustrations if necessary...

Two of the main points are:

1) the ability to understand and evaluate your environment (metsuke), and
2) not post crap on a forum that is seen by the world and causes embarrassment for your sensei and dojo.

Ready for yondan?

Yep, I'm ready. I would never use a shinken around ~15 people at the club, but whatever.

Sounds like a classic Manic Episode (Bipolar Affective Disorder) In many respects the discipline of JSA actually helps, unless the person suffers from a pathological or psychotic* reaction. The physical exercise helps during depressive episodes. When someone is manic, you really have to play it by ear, mainly, if they're out of control, take their swords off them and wait till the ep is over.

*I mean psychotic in the medical sense, not in the modern cultural one. As someone who has suffered three psychotic episodes I never tried to kill or harm anyone at any time. Honest. No really, never

So why were you walking down the street with a shinken if you don't practice with it?

I do, it's just that I decided to play a role that day and got arrested.

Play a role? Explain what possible role needs you to walk around in your dogi and carry a shinken?

What would you think if Inoue sensei knew about all this crap you're posting on here and the embarrassment you're causing? I think it is time to chill, buddy.

I chilled 11 minutes ago, thank you. And you are really cool, Scott!

I think I'll just aim for Ikkyu now, and I don't get embarassed at anything at all, ever.
