Karka Kasadara - WHen will our MDs learn ??
 

Yesterday i started a topic on SIkran -directed by Vijay's father and music scored by Vijay Antony ..

Today it is karka kasadara -hero si vijay's cousin and music is prayog ....There is'nt huge difference between the two albums .......But few songs are much better than sukran ...

I feel most of the MDs have misinterprested ARR trend-Yes he started all the techno loops and stuff like that - but his melody was very strong unlike the other guyz ....

1. A jooku - Mahalskhmi Iyer ,KK
When i saw the title of this song and saw it was sung by M.iyer,i was bit puzzled on what could be the type of song ..This is like a bangra song with a mix of " Uppu KAruvada" type of song ....Ok song ....1-2 times ketkalam ..This is the 100 th time iam hearing a some rap lyrics in the interlude ...Try something different .........The charanam has a better melody ..The other good point is that music does not kill the lyrics ( however stupid it may be ) .... 7.5/10

2. Aithalaka -KK ,Malathi ( ??)
Vijay nu peru vanthale dappanguthu thaan mudivu pannitanga ....Ethu oru techno ,village based dappanguthu ( enna oru kevalamana defintion ...) ....Typical deva kind of song ......1-2 times ketkalam ....Malathi - amma thaye dhyavu senchu padratha nirunthanga ..unga kathal thanga mudiala ...6/10


3.Apalpuzha - Grace
Yaruppa athu Grace ( MBBS puzhal singer ) . .....Yaro music director kitta sollitanga pola ...sir ,ethu vijay padam nu nenachu summa kanda padi music podunga nu ..very average song ..front benchers ku kondattam thaan ...... 6/10


4.Baby - Balaji
Oru vela tfmpage balaji padi irupaaro ...illai cricket balaji padi irupaaru ..This is a Disco song ......Sukran ,Karka KAsasadra kuttai la oruna mattai nu entha patta partha therinchu kalam ..ethula oru english songs la irunthu pallavi ,anu pallavi copy vera ........But this is 0.25 times better than sukran nu venna solllam ...6/10


5.Karka Kasadra -Ranjith
Ranjith sang some wonderful numbers in Kudaikkul Mazhai and in Asai Asaiyai ..This song is bit refreshing ,look slike title song ...Nice ..Thsi song and teh fllowing song is teh differntiator between this album and the Sukran album .....8.5/10

6.Minimini Kalangal -SS
NagaS ,unga netri kanna vechu entha patta yerichu da teenga ...the intial music bit feels like a hindi song ..This melody is too good ......If at all i will buy the cassete ,it will be for this song ..EXcellent singing by Sadhana Sargam ...

NagaS ,watch out for SS prononciation - iam sure u will have a surprise here ....Oru thadava kettu parunga ...

Watch out for the guitar piece in the first interlude ...10/10

7.Nenjilae-Sujata
Starts with an excellent orchestraal peice ,.....U can have a feel of Illayraaj kind of meldoy here ....Nallu irruku ..3-4 times ketkalam ....9.5/10

8.Noothan _Harish Rghavendra ,chinmayi
Please stop this kind of disco melody ..It spoils the melody ..Good melody but completely spoilt by the discox beats .......8/10


Pesama they can remove the first 4 songs in this movie - it will do alot of good ...rest of the songs are good ,but yenna sayrathu the first 4songs sets up the prejudice ...
