Lottery first prize will be increased to 25

The Government Lottery Office (GLO) will draw up to 25 first-prize numbers from January 16 onward.

Each ticket bearing any of the winning numbers can claim Bt3million prize.

Currently, GLO has drawn just one first-prize number and it has come with only Bt2million cash prize.

"With more first-prize numbers, we will remove the jackpot prize (Bt30million) from our draw," GLO board director Nakharin Mektrairat said Friday.
